Mind your own SKIN
Here are some easy-to-make face and body scrub recipes
Oats and roses scrub
1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup milk powder
1 tbsp rock salt
1tbsp cornmeal
1tbsp crushed and dried rose petals/dried and powdered lemon or orange peel
1tsp dried and powdered neem leaves.
Gently mix all ingredients in a mixer. Don’t make the mixture smooth, leave it in a granular stage. Gently massage this on to moist body and face. Leave to dry. Rinse well. Regular use will make your skin smooth and baby-soft.
Rice and sugar scrub
5 tablespoon baby oil
4 teaspoon coarsely ground rice flour
2 teaspoon lemon juice
Mix all the ingredients, and gently massage your body and face. Rinse off with tepid water. If you have pimples/acne, avoid using this scrub.
Honey and olive oil scrub
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp oatmeal
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp coarse brown sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
Mix all ingredients, except the oatmeal. Once a smooth paste is made, add in oatmeal. Gently scrub all over body and face. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
This scrub will make your skin glow with health.
Pineapple and papaya scrub
1 cup diced pineapple and papaya
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp baby oil
2 tbsp oatmeal and sugar
Crush the pineapple and papaya pieces and squeeze out the juices into a jar. Add oatmeal, sugar, baby oil and honey to the fruit pulp. Make a coarse mix. Moisten your face and body. Massage onto your body and face in a circular motion. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse off with cool water. Lightly massage the fruit juice all over your body and face. Leave for 15 minutes. Take a cold shower. If you regularly follow this ritual, you an be rest assured that your skin will remain satin smooth and healthy.
